LAST DAY OF DREAM TEAM CHALLENGE

PROGRESS 6

Today(26/8/2017) is the last day of Dream Team Challenge. Eventually, i learnt a lot from the way of good pitching, good presentation but i think there still lack of interesting ideation.

From the very morning, after we had our breakfast, we set up our poster, MVP on our group table 18. Our group quickly got into preparations and summarize what point we wanted to pitch. Then the pitching starts at 9.00am, where all the lecturers were going around randomly picked on groups to hear their pitching.

Soon, a grumpy looking lecturer came in front of us, asked us to start pitching. At first, we were all quite nervous as we did not expect a grumpy looking lecturer would be our judge. His expression looked really grumpy and angry that made us felt a bit chilly. Syairah and Maira were the ones who pitched, they pitched quite well and we were supporting them together during the Q&A session. We also showed him our MVP, as how it functions and what are the functions our device had. He then also asked some questions, we were all quite able to answer his questions until he felt satisfied and put a sticker on our number.

Then we waited quite a long time for the second lecturer to our group, it was damn boring. Until around 11am, there was this lady lecturer came to be our judge unexpectedly again. She looked friendly and we were not so nervous and scared this time, we were able to present our idea well and satisfying. After that, she also asked quite similar questions with the previous grumpy lecturer and we had prepared well this time. The lecturer was quite satisfied with our idea, but still need improvement, so we took her advise as a reference.

12.00pm was noon time, everyone got their lunch and break time. We began started our event at around 2.30pm, this round they chose the best 10 groups undergraduate to come up to stage and present to the judges and 5 undergraduates groups to present. As for us who did not get chosen to present would be listening to their pitch.

Personally, i was quite looking foward to hear the top 10's idea as i was quite curious how their idea got chosen. However, I was only interested with the first of few groups pitching then i lost interest, because i felt that their idea was almost 'similar', most of the groups got selected were doing apps, and was very bored and disappointed. If some of the group could do other than app, such as IOT or games it would be much more different. So i don't think that i learnt much from idea, but it left me most impression was that 'pitching rapping guy', his pitching was really awesome, even though his apps may not be really approved by the judges, but i was almost convinced by him with his good pitching skills.

After awfully waiting for their pitching to end, it finally came to an end. Madam Natalya agreed to let us undergraduate went back early and we were all with sudden awake and were excited like a gorilla.

So before we went home, our group took a group photo:

All i wanted to thank was our group members, Coco Lee, Syairah, Maira& also our lecturers who guided us while doing the assignment.

END OF THE BLOG. THANK YOU.
